Authorities aim at separating the public, creating chaos: Larisa Alaverdyan
The actions of the group that has come to power is more like the activity of destructive sects aimed at separating the society, former ombudsperson Larisa Alaverdyan said today at the discussion on Constitutional Security: Challenges and Solutions.
“Their minimal plan is creation of chaos – be it constitutional, social or legal. I am concerned with selective justice. We have selective usage of the Constitution. This National Assembly, this prime minister and government are not legitimate. We have created an unprecedented precedent which destroys us. It endangers our development,” she said, adding that the international principles and assessments of the international structures are currently being ignored.
“The independence of the judicial power must be protected by the state. As first ombudsperson, I state that we will continue our 30-year lasting work on creating conscientious person,” she said.
