Armenia’s, FM, OSCE Secretary General discuss Karabakh conflict peace process
Armenia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan met on February 14 in Munich with the OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger, Armenia’s MFA press service reports.
During the meeting Zohrab Mnatsakanyan noted that Armenia attaches significance to the reinforcement of effective cooperation with the OSCE executive bodies and expansion of partnership by promotion of new projects and initiatives.
The interlocutors discussed partnership in the sidelines of "Cooperation with Armenia" OSCE project.
Armenia’s minister and the OSCE Secretary General referred also to the process of peaceful settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict and the recent meetings in its framework.
Minister Mnatsakanyan stressed the importance of direct involvement of Artsakh authorities in the peace process, especially in the discussion of the issues relating to Artsakh security and status.
The parties emphasized the importance of OSCE’s role in fostering peace promoting atmosphere and steps aimed at preparation of peoples to peace.
