Prosperous Armenia faction deputy described meeting with Chief of General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces effective, informative

The meeting with the Chief of General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces Artak Davtyan was quite effective and informative, chairperson of NA’s Human Rights Protection and Public Affairs Standing Committee Naira Zohrabyan told the reporters after the meeting.

“We had many concerns both as deputies and as citizens and received unbiased response. We have a lot to do as lawmakers. We had reached clear arrangement with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces to work jointly,” she said.

Chairman of the Defense and Security Affairs Standing Committee Andranik Kocharyan said that the discussed issues contain big share of secrecy.

“We must stem from the circumstance that what happened in February in the Armed Forces makes us do everything for the army. We must not target the army today, all must stand by the army,” Kocharyan said.
