Cases of Coronavirus registered in Iran, Meghri border checkpoint instructed to strengthen control
Works addressed to prevent the penetration of coronavirus (COVID-2019) to Armenia are being undertaken, Armenia’s Health Ministry reports.
The steps are being undertaken on the border check-points and laboratory studies are also been made.
All the people arrived from China are under doctor’s control, those having even low temperature are being hospitalized and all the necessary examinations are being made.
As to the cases registered in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Health Ministry has contacted with the Armenian embassy in Iran and with Iranian health ministry.
It has been reported that 5 cases have been registered of which 4 in Qom, of which two with lethal outcome and one in Arak.
An instruction has been given to Meghri border check-point officials to strengthen the control there.
