Incident in Stepanakert should be viewed in pre-context of foreign agency network activity
Co-founder of One Armenia party referred in a Facebook post to the protest action of a group of activists in Artsakh demanding resignation of President Bako Sahakyan.
“A very strange and ridiculous incident took place in Stepanakert: a group of people conducted a march of protest in Stepanakert and demanded resignation of, attention, Bako Sahakyan and Levon Mnatsakanyan. I think that there is no doubt that the action was directed and had a provocative nature as there is no political motivation to demand resignation of a president who is going to leave in two months and especially there is no political, legal and moreover moral reason to demand resignation of Emergency Situations Minister Levon Mnatsakanyan,” he said, urging the law enforcement bodies of Artsakh to view the incident in the pre-context of activity of foreign agency network, check and reveal all the participants of the provocation, the masterminds, contacts.
“There are serious grounds to suppose that this provocation has direct connection with March 31 presidential elections in Artsakh and April 5 referendum in Armenia,” he wrote.
