Artsakh and Azerbaijan cannot be in the single political territory: Pashinyan
Armenia and Artsakh have common ideas over the strategy and vector line in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict issue, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the joint session of Security Councils of Armenia and Artsakh held in Stepanakert.
He stressed that Artsakh is full participant of the peace talks and without Artsakh it will be impossible to settle the Karabakh conflict.
“The cornerstone in the Armenia-Artsakh cooperation is security. Artsakh and Armenia are united territory of security and our agenda here cannot be different. In this regard we are attaching great significance to the efficiency of the Armenia’s Armed Forces and Artsakh. Though the army is the prior guarantor of security, in this issue it should not be left alone. Democracy is also the security guarantor. In very short period of time national elections will be held in Artsakh which once again will show the democratic differences between Artsakh and Azerbaijan and will again prove that Artsakh and Azerbaijan cannot be in the single political territory as even ten years ago the level of democracy in Artsakh was higher than in the neighbor country,” Pashinyan said.
