Armenian side describes Azerbaijani reports about “subversive act” as fairy tale for own public
Armenia’s Defense Ministry denies the Azerbaijani information about subversive act attempt of the Armenian forces.
“The “subversive act” announced by the Azerbaijani side is a good fairy tale for Azerbaijani public. It is complete misinformation. The Armenian Armed Forces simply responded to the Azerbaijani provocation, the results of which you see yourself. Moreover, the Armenian side even demonstrates restriction,” Hovhannisyan wrote on Facebook.
Spokesperson Artsrun Hovhannisyan reported about one wounded serviceman, adding that his life is not in danger.
After the response fire the Azerbaijani side stopped shooting.
The Azerbaijani side also suffered loss. According to the Azerbaijani state border guard service, border guard Ibrahim Veliyev was killed.
Azerbaijan stated as if the Armenian side attempted subversive act.
