Armenia has the scheme on how and where isolate person with coronavirus: Narek Zeynalyan
The panic among the people over coronavirus is more than it should have been, chairman of the NA Health and Social Affairs Standing Committee Narek Zeynalyan told the reporters in the NA today.
“No cases of coronavirus have been registered in Armenia so far. There is some panic among the public, I understand, but it is more than it should have been,” he said.
As to the existence of risks, Zeynalyan said that risks always exist but currently everything possible is being done.
As an example Zeynalyan mentioned the closure of land border with Iran for two weeks.
As to the border being opened for traders who are freely entering the country, Zeynalyan said only drivers are entering the country after passing medical control.
Speaking about the shortage of masks in pharmacies, Zeynalyan agreed it with groundless panic.
“We discuss all the possible cases. Even if coronavirus case is registered, we have the scheme where and how to isolate,” he said.
