Armenia cannot close communication in all directions: Armenia’s PM on coronavirus prevention measures
The most reliable way to prevent the spread of coronavirus is the sense of self-responsibility of a person, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the session of the commission set to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Armenia.
“I again urge those compatriots who have no signs actively follow the measures offered by the health ministry, follow personal hygiene rules. Those having some symptoms are urged not to engage in self-treatment but apply to health centers and wait for response,” he said, adding that recently the number of calls has grown but in neither of the cases coronavirus was confirmed.
Pashinyan stressed that today the working group will prepare the government’s decision for them to enter into force from tomorrow.
“We will see the situation by the end of the week and make decisions upon necessity,” he said.
Referring to the issue on why the communications in all directions are not being closed, Pashinyan said, first it is impossible to do it, as it will mean 100% isolation.
“As of the moment we are assessing the risky directions and are carrying out intensive works over them,” the PM said.
The measures will be intensified, including on part of cargo transportations, the premier stressed.
