Lowering age threshold of judges should not become a problem for Armenia’s citizens: PAP deputy
There is no conflict of interest in the bill on lowering the age threshold of judges, secretary of Prosperous Armenia faction Arman Abovyan told the reporters at the NA today, adding that it must serve its main goal and not become a problematic issue for the Armenian citizens.
“We have not spoken against it, we abstained. It is a working regime,” the deputy said.
Earlier Abovian told the author of the bill Suren Grigoryan, from My Step ruling faction that 25-year-old cannot decide the fates of the people and advised Grigoryan to study the experience of the USA, UK and even Ukraine.
