Armenia’s PM says no force in the world can say Armenia’s citizen made wrong decision
Conducting constitutional referendum in Armenia does not mean to ignore international commitments, but means attaching significance to the wish of own people, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the “Yes” campaign today in Kapan.
He stressed that it is the issue to be solved with the own people.
“It does not mean that we reject any of the international commitments, everything is being done in accordance with procedures. Where we need to be flexible we will be, but we state that the Republic of Armenia is a sovereign state and when the citizen of RA expresses his/her will the whole world must come into terms with it. There is no force in the world to tell us – your citizen made a wrong decision – our citizen cannot make a wrong decision. What he/she decides is a law,” he stated, adding that not one can doubt the sovereignty of the Armenian people.
The premier stressed that they respect all the international partners.
“We will be reliable partners for all our reliable partners, but those who will try to cheat us, deceive is, will get corresponding response,” the PM said.
