Armenia’s PM urges people in Jermuk to respect the revolution and the government
The deepest cause of Amulsar issue is the absence of reliable institutions, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the referendum campaign today in Armenia’s resort town of Jermuk.
“I want to stress for those compatriots who think that after revolution the government is not undertaking enough steps to finally settle the Amulsar issue that if not the revolution, the Amulsar mine would have been exploited for long ago,” Pashinyan stressed.
He urged all not to lose the respect toward the revolution and the government.
“Those who will lose the respect let remember the situation before and after the revolution. In Amulsar issue I disagree with many,” he said stressing that he both disagrees with those who claim that the mine should not be exploited and with those who claim that it should be.
“What I do say is that we must follow the truth. It is not an easy path,” the head of the government stressed, adding that nevertheless, they will follow this path till the end.
