Italian employee working in Tumo center's building tests coronavirus positive, had no contacts with children
Head of Tumo center’s communication department Zara Budaghyan told Aysor.am that one of the employees in the 6th floor of their building (Italian citizen as Aysor.am has learnt) has tested coronavirus positive.
Aysor.am has learnt that the infected Italian citizen is the employee of Italian "Renco" construction company which is carrying out construction works in the 6th floor of the building.
“We have clarified whether this person had access to our center, and learnt that he did not as we are very strict in the security issue. To get more convinced we viewed the camera recording. This person was not seen in the Tumo area,” Budaghyan said.
She said the decision to suspend classes in the center is not agreed with it. The decision was made earlier after the discussion of the issue with the leadership.
“We were planning to make the statement today and the information with the person coincided. We do not see any danger regarding this person and close Tumo as the flow of children here is very big. I can state for sure neither of the Tumo children contacted with the person,” she stressed.
