Armenia’s PM: Referendum cannot be conducted during state of emergency
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the National Assembly today that referendum cannot take place during state of emergency.
“The referendum will take place not earlier than in 50 days and not later than in 65 days after the end of the state of emergency,” he said.Earlier today, Armenia’s government declared state of emergency because of spread of coronavirus in Armenia.
The state of emergency enters into force today and will last until April 14.
