Armenia’s Armed Forces ensured with necessary food and hygiene means: DM

Preventive and anti-epidemic measures are being undertaken to prevent penetration of coronavirus to Armenian Armed Forces, Defense Ministry spokesperson Shushan Stepanyan wrote on Facebook.

She stressed that all kinds of holidays are banned and visits to military units, military-educational and military-medical establishments as well as to DM infrastructures are strictly restricted.

“A number of changes have been implemented in the initially worked out programs, all the planned, not-urgent events have been cancelled,” she stressed.

To keep the servicemen away from the infection, the DM is intensively cooperating with the Ministry of Health and other corresponding bodies.

The relatives of the servicemen are also urged not to send parcels, keep the safety rules.

“The armed forces are completely ensured with all the necessary food, hygiene and other means,” the spokesperson said.
