Movement of people and transportation means to be restricted during state of emergency

The entrance of people, cargos and animals to the Republic of Armenia will hence be implemented in special order, the draft on declaring state of emergency in Armenia reads.

The entrance of people to the territory of Armenia from the countries declared by the Health minister as having high epidemiologic situation will not be allowed to Armenia.

The exclusions will operate for representatives of diplomatic missions, council offices and international organizations and in case of other cases with the decision of the commandant.

The exit of the citizens of Armenia via land border check point is also band, with some exclusions to be decided by commandant.

If the people refuse to undergo examination after the entrance of people to the territory of Armenia, they will be isolated and examined to prevent the possible spread of coronavirus.

People arriving from coronavirus-hit countries must be transported to special quarantine vicinities or be ordered to self-isolate.

With the instruction of the commandant restrictions enter into force in Armenia’s communities to be controlled by police officers.

The movement of the people will be restricted.

People are instructed to be isolated in the places they prefer. In case of any symptoms people are transported to the envisaged places of quarantine.

The transportation means will be examined, the entrance and exit will be banned.

Special checkpoints and examination points will be installed to ensure the implementation of the special regime.
