Armenia’s PM urges people to make purchases from small stores too
The prices in the food market are undergoing changes, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said in live video on Facebook, mentioning particularly prices for buckwheat, lentils.
“It is agreed with crisis, panic shopping people make. I urge our people not to implement the so-called crisis and panic shopping. The stores do not lack any products,” Pashinyan said.
The head of the government also said that the people mainly make purchases in big supermarkets, forgetting the small stores. He said according to the information they have in average the purchase in big supermarkets has grown by 30-40% while in small stores it has reduced.
The PM urged not to forget small and medium-sized business.
