Armenia faces cargo transportation issues in Lars and Bagratashen
Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan stated at the Government-NA Q&A that Armenia is currently facing cargo transportation issues in Lars, Bagratashen.
“The main issue in Bagratashen is agreed with quarantine in Marneuli due to coronavirus. The capacity in this sector has slowed down. We have capacity issue in Lars as well,” Avinyan said.
He said today the Armenian and Georgian PMs will hold a phone conversation to give solution to the issue.
“We have queues both on Armenian-Georgian border and Lars checkpoint and in the territory of Georgia. I think in near future we must set rules of game for the cargo transportations not to suffer from the situation. To settle the issue we always keep in touch with Georgian and Russian partners,” he said.
