State of emergency declared force majeure: consumers to be supplied electricity, gas and water even if not paying for them
State of Emergency in Armenia is declared force majeure hindering citizens to pay for electricity, gas and water
Taking into account the state of emergency agreed with the outbreak of novel coronavirus in Armenia, the Public Services Regulatory Commission has recognized the situation created till the end of state of emergency as force majeure, hindering the implementation of commitments by the citizens on paying for electricity, natural gas and drinking water.
According to the press service of the commission, in the created condition the supplier companies do not have right to stop the supply of electricity, gas and water but the subscribers are not freed from the payments for consumed products.
