Gazprom Armenia will not cut gas supply to consumers not having paid for it
Gazprom Armenia will continue gas supply to the consumers even if they have not paid for it, the company’s press service reports.
“Taking into consideration the decision of the Commandant in the conditions of declared state of emergency in the country and the announcement of the Public Services Regulatory Commission that the state of emergency is recognized as force majeure impeding the implementation of the commitments by the citizens on paying the bills, the company will refrain from cutting the gas supply if the customers do not pay for it,” the statement said.
At the same time, it said that as of March 26, 2020 the debt of the customers for February for the supplied gas makes about 4 billion 800 million AMD.
It also said that the 93,4% of the debt for gas does not come to the share of needy families.
