European Commission to allocate 140 million Euros to Eastern Partnership countries to combat social-economic consequences of coronavirus
The European Commission will allocate 140 million Euros to Eastern Partnership countries to smooth the consequences of social-economic consequences of COVID-19 pandemic.
The corresponding statement was made in Brussels on Monday by representative of the Commission Ana Pisonero, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“We are allocating 140 million Euros to the Eastern Partnership countries – Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine – for most immediate needs, to help combat the social-economic consequences of the crisis agreed with coronavirus outbreak in the mentioned countries,” she said.
