Issue of mitigating measures may be discussed depending on further statistics: My Step deputy
If the instructions of the Commandant’s office are followed the measures undertaken to prevent spread of virus may be mitigated, doctor-deputy from My Step faction Narek Zeynalyan told Aysor.am, referring to the statement of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about possibility of returning to regular life in a week due to slowed dynamics of spread of infection recorded today.
“For it the people must follow the measures, do not contact, leave the house in case of urgent necessity. It is necessary to display balanced approach as it is not only healthcare issue but social and economic as well. The actions must be planned and implemented in accordance. In such case, depending on the statistics, we may discuss the issue of lifting some restrictions,” Zeynalyan said.
As of April 6, the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Armenia reached 833, growing by 11 in a day. Sixty-two patients have recovered, 736 are getting treatment. The death toll from coronavirus in Armenia stands at 8.
