Armenia’s government has clear strategy to overcome the crisis: PM
In the sidelines of anti-crisis events the government distributed already 670 million AMD, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the cabinet sitting today, adding that the sum is 10% less than expected.
“We are updating information daily. The data base will be completed in few days and the whole assistance, support packages will be available for the stakeholders,” he said.
Pashinyan said so far Armenia’s banks have given credit holiday to 290 citizens amounting to 9,3 billion AMD.
He said credit holiday has also been given to 5,300 legal entities amounting to 15,4 billion AMD.
“All the grounds exist for continuing this process, but I want to stress that these decisions have been made without government’s administrative influence. I consider it very important to stress. The banking system is in very mild condition,” the Prime Minister said.
He said the government receives numerous proposals on what to do.
“The flow of proposals makes feel dizzy. I want to stress that we are working in a daily regime, the government has clear strategy how to overcome the crisis. Indeed, we will listen to all, but our steps must fit in our strategy,” he stressed.
