YSMU rector expresses condolences on the demise of Artemis Nazaryan, wife of famous philanthropist

Rector of Yerevan State Medical University Armen Muradyan expressed condolences on the demise of wife of famous philanthropist Nazar Nazaryan.

"It is with deep sorrow that I was informed of the passing away of Artemis Nazaryan, the wife of Nazar Nazaryan, the famous philanthropist and public figure. During the days of this raging catastrophe in the world, the Nazaryan family also suffered an irreparable loss.

The exceptional support of the Nazaryan family is invaluable in developing the capacity of both Armenia and Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi. The Nazaryan family has made a truly instrumental contribution to our country, especially to the development of YSMU University Hospitals.

I am sure that Mrs. Artemis Nazaryan's memory will always be alive.

On behalf of the leadership, faculty and students of Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi, we express our deep condolences to the Nazaryan family and relatives.

On behalf of the whole university and myself, I express my support to the Nazaryan family, their relatives and friends, and wish them health, patience and a strong spirit.

I would like to note that I have decided to apply to the YSMU Academic Council and the Nomination Committee to perpetuate the name of the Nazaryan family in the University Hospitals," Muradyan wrote.
