State of emergency in Armenia to be extended till mid-May
Session of commission coordinating works against spread of coronavirus in Armenia took place today headed by Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
Health Minister Arsen Torosyan briefed to the participants the statistics of the cases and shared the information about the infected.
Deputy prime minister, commandant Tigran Avinyan referred to the strategy of fighting against novel coronavirus. In particular a proposal has been made to extend the state of emergency for another 30 days and preserve the restrictions of movement, work of transport.
The participants also discussed the restrictions of separate types of economic activities, timeframe of lifting of some.
Reference was also made to the issues on organization of works in social, educational, cultural and public sectors.
The premier instructed to present the draft decision on extending the state of emergency after the adoption of which special NA session will be convened.
