No document discussed at the table of negotiations: Ruben Rubinyan on Russian FM's statement

Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan presented yesterday the reality, head of the Foreign Affairs Standing Committee, head of Armenia’s delegation to PACE Ruben Rubinyan told the reporters today, referring to the statement of the Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov and response of Armenia’s FM.

“Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov presented his position or his view, Armenia’s MFA presented the existing realities and our position,” Rubinyan said.

As to whether he sees any need to demand clarifications from the Russian side, Rubinyan said, “I think in case of necessity Armenia’s MFA will make decision on possible further actions.”

Rubinyan did not agree with the claims that the statement of the Russian MFA testifies Russia’s support to Azerbaijan.

“The OSCE Minsk Group is mainly demonstrating balanced position,” he said, adding that there is no document on the table of negotiations.

“There is no document on the table of negotiations and the prime minister has many times said what is being discussed,” Rubinyan said.
