Armenia’s PM understands that country faces complicated trial and it is not epidemic but social-economic crisis: political technologist
Political technologist Vigen Hakobyan says the two live videos of Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan relating to the disappointed was rather interesting regarding the topic he chose to refer to.
“This circumstance is rather interesting, why the prime minister suddenly referred to the layers of the society who as he described are disappointed from today’s authorities. For already two years the premier was preferring not to speak about such things and everything was in euphoric mood. It was considered that there are no complains during the ruling of these authorities and all were happy with only counter-revolutionaries being the “blacks” and dissatisfied,” the expert said, speaking to Aysor.am.
“Now we see that according to the prime minister these layer has widened and it was news,” he stressed.
As to targeting the media, Hakobyan said it is not news.
“Pashinyan refers to press periodically, describing it venal, serving owners for money. Usually the owners are presented as wings of previous authorities.
Pashinyan’s game lists always has a character of a guilty, of an enemy who is guilty in all the failures. These were once blacks, once former oligarchs, who now do not exist, state apparatus, which, according to him, is confronting, and the press,” Hakobyan said.
The expert said Pashinyan in general presented the disappointed and as far as their layers widen, a question raises who is not disappointed.
“I think some transformation occurred in Pashinyan’s mood, or in how he assesses the situation. He noticed that he has issues both in the ruling team and understands that the country is facing rather complicated trial and it is not the epidemic at all. It is a real issue – social-economic crisis.
The prime minister started to understand that there is a lack of resources for successful way out,” Hakobyan stressed.
The expert said it is inadmissible to offend this or that layer even if they, according to Pashinyan, are disappointed from the authorities.
“It is unacceptable to speak in such style, when you are speaking so, you must take into account that there will be political and other forces who can respond in the same way. Usually such responds were never late. It is rather dangerous and the atmosphere of hatred comes from this. It is unpleasant when mass media receives such assessment by a person who dealt with journalism during all his life,” he said, adding that Armenia is a small country and information is so transparent that everyone in journalism field and in political world knows each other and it is not a secret that when someone is being accused of anything he/she immediately opposes with not less grounded facts.
