Government spends little money to eliminate social consequences of coronavirus: Davit Khazhakyan

The citizens feel deceived, head of Luys faction of Yerevan Council of Elders Davit Khazhakyan told Aysor.am.

He said that being deprived of their income in conditions of state of emergency and not being able to pay utility costs they are facing the power and gas supply cuts but the government must assist them.

“For two years the citizens heard that the robbed has been returned and is being returned to the people and that the state has funds. We remember how many times in his speech the prime minister said that we do not have money issue. But in this conditions people see that the government spends little means to eliminate the social consequences of the coronavirus,” Khazhakyan said.

He said that the citizens are not interested in Pashinyan’s yesterday’s explanations why the gas and power of some customers were cut.

“I convince that no one is interested in these details. The government must settle the existing issues for the people not to face power, gas cuts which though has already taken place,” he said
