We categorically deny factor of threat in peace talks: Armenia’s FM
Solution of Artsakh issue is based on mutual concessions, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said, adding that no one should expect a step from Armenia which will suppose concession and damages our security.
“What we say is more than clear and is a guide for our involvement in the peace process. What we said in Bratislava has been principally repeated in Yerevan when I was commenting on a statement made few hours before,” Mnatsakanyan said at the NA Foreign Relations Standing Committee.
“It was followed with the comments on the levels of Russian and Armenian spokespersons and I think we have nothing to say in this regard. We have categorically denied the threat factor in the peace process. We accept language of negotiations,” he said.
Zohrab Mnatsakanyan said that the security of the people of Artsakh is a priority.
“Our positions are firm and I feel very calm and firm. We have consensus and inner strength. The government’s mandate stems from the people’s mandate. And if someone thinks that Azerbaijan’s positions are acceptable for all, he is deeply mistaken. The process is really complicated,” he said.
