New outbreak of coronavirus recorded in Armenia’s Gegharkunik province
New outbreak of coronavirus has been recorded in Ddmashen community of Armenia’s Gegharkunik province, governor Gnel Samosyan reports.
The governor said that with the decision of the Commandant Tigran Avinyan special regime for entry and exit from Ddmashen has been set, restrictions will act in the community.
The restrictions enter into force from today and will last till May 16.
The governor said that 32 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in the province. The total number of the infected makes 149 of which 39 in the Ddmashen community.
The governor said the first case in Ddmashen has been recorded after participation of an infected person in funerals.
“The majority of the cases have been recorded among isolated and self-isolated citizens,” he said, stressing that the circle of contacts of the infected persons has been clarified, part of them have been self-isolated and part isolated.
