Armenia’s Armed Forces complete formation of three-layer air defense system: My Step deputy

The year of 2019 registered serious achievements in defense sector, deputy from My Step faction Tigran Karapetyan stated today.

“We have recorded serious results in four main directions - armaments, engineering structures, social sphere and military industry,” he said, stressing that for the first time new generation fighters were acquired.

“For the first time the Armenian Armed Forces had an opportunity while planning military actions not to have any unavailable point in the territory of the adversary,” the deputy said, adding that the formation of three-layer air defense system has been completed which together with the S300 systems allow to hit any target of the enemy.

Karapetyan also stressed that serious engineering works were carried out on the front line.

Referring to the military industry, Karapetyan said that Armenia has launched production of own ammunition which few years ago seemed to be a dream.
