Arthur Tovmasyan elected chairman of Artsakh National Assembly
Arthur Tovmasyan has been elected chairman of the Artsakh National Assembly, newly elected Artsakh president Arayik Harutyunyan wrote on Facebook, stressing that their candidate received the majority of votes during the extraordinary session of their political bloc.
“A decision has also been made to appoint Arthur Harutyunyan as head of the faction of our political bloc and Eleonora Avanesyan as the secretary,” Harutyunyan said.
He also added that Karen Danielyan from the bloc's list will be the head of the staff, Lusine Gharakhanyan will be minister of education, science and sport and Aram Sargsyan will be appointed minister of urban development.
Harutyunyan said he will report about other appointments later.
