PAP deputy says Armenia faces 40 million USD loss daily

Prosperous Armenia faction voted against the government’s 5-year long program yet in February of the past year, faction deputy Mikayel Melkumyan said today, adding that all the concerns and arguments brought by their political force have become a reality.

“The past year’s path of the government showed the existence of serious concerns. First, we have not learnt whether new jobs have been created and secondly, which part of the employees came out of the shadow,” he said.

The deputy also stressed that the foreign investments have reduced.

“In this very phase the resistance of our country could have been higher if we had foreign investments,” he said, adding that Armenia records 40 million USD loss daily but 80 billion AMD only has been injected.

“How will we restore this difference? It is a very complicated issue,” the PAP deputy said.
