Revolution stolen from the people will be returned to them: Arsen Babayan
Former deputy head of NA staff Arsen Babayan described the case against him as political persecution.
“I have many times voiced tough criticism in the address of political leadership and it all was grounded with proofs,” Babayan told the reporters after the trial of his and former NA speaker Ara Babloyan’s case.
He said his arrest was a consequence of his interviews where he criticized the authorities.
“Two-three days before my arrest in one of the interviews I directly criticized the incompetent governance of the leader of the ruling political force Pashinyan, for applying double standards in justice sector. It was the reason why they created some documents and apprehended me after which they arrested me,” he said, stressing that no political pressure will stop him, and the revolution stolen from the people will be returned to the people.
