Pashinyan: Current dynamics of spread of COVID-19 may result in tens of deaths daily
Speaking live on Facebook, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stressed about the created serious situation due to absence of serious attitude toward coronavirus.
“The time has come for us to treat the situation twice, five, ten times more seriously,” the prime minister said.
He said the average level of daily deaths in the country is less than in May 2019.
“But this is not the most essential. The essential thing is that if we do not break this tempo on May 29 we will have 10,000, on June 19 20,000 confirmed cases,” he said.
The head of the government stressed that if such dynamics continues tens of lethal cases will be recorded daily and in such case the government will have to return to the strictest restrictions.
