Asymptomatic patients not to be hospitalized from tomorrow: minister
Citizens with confirmed coronavirus but without symptoms will not be hospitalized from May 22, Armenia’s health minister Arsen Torosyan told the reporters today.
“More probably from tomorrow the patients with light symptoms or without them will be sent home to continue their self-isolation in their homes under the medical control,” Torosyan said.
The minister stressed that such patients will not be deprived from medical assistance, it is just the matter of change of strategy of managing the disease.
“There are very few countries which keep the asymptomatic patients in isolation in hospitals or hotels. We did so till now, but from tomorrow we will change our strategy,” he said.
