Constructive approach based on readiness to compromise to help make progress in Karabakh conflict settlement: Armenia’s Vice PM
The Armenian side is strongly against the usage of CIS platform for imposing unilateral perception of the Azerbaijani side which distorts the nature of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Vice Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan stated at the session of the heads of CIS governments in regime of video conference.
“The Armenian side confirms its commitment to exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflicts in accordance with principles of international right in their totality and interrelation in the sidelines of agreed format which is aimed at reduction of tension and restoration of atmosphere of peaceful co-existence,” Grigoryan said.
He stressed that the only format of the settlement of the Karabakh conflict having the mandate of the international community is the institute of co-chairmanship of the OSCE Minsk Group.
“I want also to remind and confirm our principled position that only constructive approach based on the denial of maximalist positions and the readiness to compromise will have to make progress and reach settlement of the conflict,” Armenia’s Vice Prime Minister stated.
