Classes in September may start if instructions are strictly followed: minister

Classes in September may fully start only in case of strictly  following the instructions – wearing masks, disinfecting hands, keeping social distancing, minister of education, science, culture and sports Arayik Harutyunyan said live on Facebook.

“We have all the chances to do it. But there is one very big BUT we must solve together. The common education sector stakeholders – students, teachers, parents – who are about the half of our population and in essence the biggest community - are those who may solve a very big issue in our country. The situation with coronavirus is becoming more complicated and the tension grows. It is being reflected in numbers as well.
The number of infected and deaths testify that the situation is rather difficult,” he said.

The minister also said he periodically receives information about school parties and urged the parents to be sober not to allow such events as they delay the opportunity of returning to normal life.
