Former deputy calls for total lockdown to avoid disaster
Former NA deputy Arman Saghatelyan urged the authorities to undertake real and not fictive measures to avoid disaster.
In his Facebook post Saghatelyan called for total lockdown.
“I was among the first ones to speak about necessity to close the border with Iran, while no one heard me, then you did it, but it was already late,” Saghatelyan stressed, adding that he was also telling to terminate Ryanair flights but again was ignored until the airline itself suspended its flights.
“We all see the consequences. Today death toll grows exponentially, people are dying, our relatives, friends, compatriots… and there is no a bit of trust that it will not multiply. Close the country! Total lockdown! I urge you, close the country!” he wrote, adding that he would not discuss the fatal criminal mistakes but will refer to them at a convenient time.
“Now we just need to undertake real and not fictive measures to avoid disaster,” he wrote.
