Coronavirus must resign: Armenia’s PM says this resignation must be the result of united efforts
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said their goal is to make coronavirus “resign.”
Asked during the briefing whether resignations are expected after the failure in fighting against coronavirus, the PM said, “Our goal is to make coronavirus resign. We must reach this resignation together.”
As to searching for guilty, Pashinyan said they are not blaming the citizens but are giving assessment to the situation.
“We must diagnose our condition,” he said.
He also said that thanks to the extraordinary work of the healthcare system as of June 1 the number of deaths is by 357 less as compared with the same span of the past year.
“Because they [medical workers] treated the coronavirus patients not only from coronavirus but other diseases as well,” he said.
