Government must not put the responsibility of its failure on citizens: Bright Armenia deputy

The Armenian government failed the fight against coronavirus, deputy from Bright Armenia faction Mane Tandilyan told the reporters today, stressing that there is no other way to describe the situation.

“Every measure must be undertaken on time, exactly when there is a need of it as just we have seen the delay of 1-2 days was fatal,” she said, stressing that the measures they are speaking about now, were to be undertaken earlier, in a right way.

“The unserious attitude by the government toward coronavirus spread among the public too, and I want to express hope that the citizens will appear to be more rational than the government which used to mock the spread of the disease and now is in panic,” Tandilyan said.

The deputy said in no case the government must put the responsibility on the citizens.

“It is demonstration of own inability, the government must ensure the activities necessary to prevent spread of the virus,” Tandilyan said.
