Do not try to put the responsibility on citizens: PAP deputy

A very dangerous and unfair tendency has been noticed of putting the responsibility on “irresponsible” citizen, deputy from Prosperous Armenia faction Naira Zohrabyan stated at the NA today.

“During these two days we are noticing dangerous, unfair tendency to put the whole responsibility, as they say, on irresponsible citizen. The government does not have moral right to put the responsibility on the citizens,” she said.

Zohrabyan stressed that the citizens should follow the rules, be law-biding but it is also necessary to understand what the responsible bodies did to prevent the spread of epidemic.

“Have they done everything necessary for them not to speak today about obliging health with the usage of special forces, batons. Do not try to put the responsibility on the citizen,” she said.

The deputy stressed that after hearing contradicting statements voiced by the officials a citizen has a right to suspect and not understand what they want from him/her.

“We are standing on the edge of chaotic situation. You should not say “you – the irresponsible citizen – are guilty” but the government is the one to make decision,” she said, stressing that a group of doctors is planning to ask for an online meeting with the premier to present possible ways out of the situation.

“Listen to the wise people, do not think that you are the all mighty,” she said.
