Armenia has not reached plateau yet, records growth in numbers: My Step deputy
Coronavirus spread tempo is not reducing until the number positive tests raises daily, My Step faction deputy, chairman of Healthcare and Social Affairs Standing Committee Narek Zeynalyan told the reporters today.
“As far the number of positive tests raise daily, it means that we cannot speak about the reduction,” he said.
The deputy said he does not agree with claims that the necessary preventive measures were late causing mass spread.
“They [preventive measures] were and are of continuative nature. Agreed with the situation they are to be changed. In essence, there is no need to search for guilty. It is a matter of collective responsibility,” he said.
Asked whether Armenia has appeared in red zone and why it happened, Zeynalyan said, “According to statistics, we register growth in numbers, it means we have not reached the plateau. The numbers must reduce and go to zero for us to say that we have reached plateau and are overcoming it.”
