Criminal Court of Appeal drops first instance court’s ruling to arrest Mikayel Minasyan
The Criminal Court of Appeal has dropt the decision of the Yerevan first instance court to arrest Armenia’s former ambassador to Holy See Mikayel Minasyan, the latter’s advocate Mihran Poghosyan reports.
“We have said many times that the act of the first instance court to arrest Mikayel Minasyan was extremely unlawful,” the member of the defense team said.
“It is indisputable that the political authorities will not accept the situation and will forward new, similarly ungrounded and unlawful accusation to Mikayel Minasyan and submit another petition to court for arresting him.
P.S. Try to make up such “accusation” for my dear advocate colleagues not be ashamed for defending you in courts,” the advocate wrote.
