Over 1,5 trillion AMD entered the state budget in 2019: Vice PM
Over 1,5 trillion AMD entered the state budget in 2019, exceeding the 2018 index with over 16,7%, Armenia’s deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan said at the discussion of the 2019 annual budget implementation report in the NA today.
“The tax incomes-GDP index in 2019 made 22,35%. In the reporting year it was not only succeeded to fully implement all the expenses envisaged but also implement newly formed commitments,” the vice PM said.
He stressed that in 2019 the state budget expenses grew by 12,6% which resulted in growth of expenses relating to the GDP which made 24,9%.
“In 2019 the budget was implemented with 64 billion AMD deficit making the 41,6% of the planned index. As of December 2019, the government’s debt made over 3,2 trillion AMD or 50% of the GDP,” Grigoryan said.
