Armenia’s PM appoints 29-year old young man in post of NSS director
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced today about appointing Argishti Kyaramyan as NSS director. The decision will enter into force after the president signs the decision.
29-year old Kyramyan was working in the State Control Service since April 10, 2019. After the suspension of the authorities of the head of the SCS Davit Sanasaryan he was appointed acting head of the service.
With the May 4, 2020 decree of Armenia’s PM he was appointed deputy head of the Investigative Committee and after a day, on June 5 he was appointed deputy director of the National Security Service.
Today the NSS director Eduard Martirosyan was relieved of post.
According to media publications, he has not come into terms with Kyaramyan being appointed in the post of his deputy.
