Armenia’s PM says actions of high-ranking state officials should not contradict PM’s words
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan thanked today at the session of the Commandant’s Office the relieved NSS director Eduard Martirosyan and chief of Armenia’s Police Arman Sargsyan for the carried out work.
“They will leave their posts, but I don’t think they have exhausted the potential to serve the Republic of Armenia, people and state and if they have readiness and interest, we, of course, will discuss the issue,” the head of the government said.
He stressed that the high-ranking state officials are the ones to show with their own example the significance of keeping the anti-epidemic rules.
“But unfortunately we see cases when it is not so. There cannot be a situation when the actions of high-ranking state official contradict the public messages of the prime minister. There just cannot be a situation that the high-ranking state official’s actions contradict to what the prime minister says and it would not be followed by concrete action. It is out of human, personal relations. It does not mean anything else, it means a clear demand that rules must be followed. Let us register it clearly,” the head of the government said.
