Artsakh to apply restrictions to avoid spread of COVID-19 in the republic
The coronavirus cases in Artsakh are very seldom and controllable, but taking into consideration the growth of dynamics of infected in Armenia restrictions will be applied, Artsakh president Arayik Harutyunyan said live on Facebook.
He said at the session of the Commandant’s office today important restrictions will be applied regarding the participation of the citizens in funerals and the other one will the mandatory existence of document about negative test.
“We have almost 500-600 people coming and going from Armenia to Artsakh daily, consequently we allow potential source of infection enter Artsakh,” the president of the Artsakh Republic said.
He said at the Commandant’s office session today a harsh but necessary restrictions will be applied.
Harutyunyan said people coming to Artsakh must be aware of the new rules to be set by the Commandant’s office.
He said the number of people entering Artsakh must be reduced until the reduction of tempo of spread of infection in Armenia.
Harutyunyan said at present wearing masks in Artsakh is not obligatory but did not exclude that it may become in near future.
