Armenia’s FM says EU countries create no impediments in Armenia-EU Agreement ratification process
EU member states – Spain, Portugal and Greece – do not impede the ratification of the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan told the reporters today.
“Armenia-EU Agreement remains the legal basis of our relations with the EU. It is also an important tool in advancing the agenda of government-designed reforms. As of today we are very close to the end of the ratification process and are waiting for the completion of process by Spain, Portugal and Greece,” he said, stressing that there is no political issue and impediment for completion of the ratification process, adding that it is just procedural issue.
Zohrab Mnatsakanyan stressed that even in conditions of coronavirus outbreak Austria and Italia ratified the agreement.
