Armenia’s PM says behavior of political forces to be examined after coronavirus pandemic ends
The behavior of many political forces during pandemic and after overcoming it will be examined, Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a briefing today.
“We must examine and give assessment on how their actions contributed to overcoming the pandemic and the opposite how they promoted the spread of the pandemic,” the head of the government said.
He said examination must be carried out to reveal whether some circles are connected with spread of false information.
“I want to say that during each war people and forces elaborating destructive activity receive corresponding assessment and let no one doubt that the forces whose destructive activity will be proved will get very concrete and pan-national assessment,” the PM said.
The prime minister said Armenia lost the fight against coronavirus just as much as the whole world did.
“France, the USA, Belgium, United Kingdom, Russia, Sweden, Germany and many super developed countries…if the Armenian government lost the fight it means the whole humanity lost it,” Pashinyan said.
He said there are forces today which not only do not have any problems today but their life has become brighter and more prosperous.
“In this virus atmosphere they see for them opportunity to revive. It is very necessary to assess the content of this revival and it is very important to asses who are those who feel good in coronavirus environment and who are those who do not,” he said, stressing that the government and the people do not feel good in coronavirus environment.
He also stressed that the fight against coronavirus has not ended but just starts.
“After it is completed, we will sum up the results,” the PM said.
